Raising capital the hard way!

I met a young guy called James the other night in the casino.  James put himself through university by playing blackjack and he is now starting up an online business – guess where the start up capital is coming from???  Yes, you guessed right, online gambling.

Now I would not recommend this to everyone.  If you believe James then he is one of the very few that is either very lucky or very talented…. most likely the former.

He says that what is important is to bank your winnings and to quit whilst the going is good.  So lets say he needed $3,000 to survive the month i.e to pay his rent, travel, food etc.  Once he had won $3,000 he would put it in the bank and leave it.  That way he was sure to have enough to pay his bills at the end of the month.

The lesson here is – Only gamble with what you can afford to lose.

Now he uses an online casino to raise his capital rather than going to the bank and taking a loan.  Today it is very difficult to squeeze any sort of capital out of a bank, so well done to James and good luck to him!

Another clue from James was not to get greedy and take unnecessary risks.  Sometimes he couldn’t afford to lose his rent money, so he wouldn’t take the risk – this paid off in the end because he was more careful in protecting his bankroll.

It doesn’t matter whether you are playin online blackjack, slots or poker – what is important is to think before you bet, “is this worth it?”

Can you recommend a good online casino where the bonuses are good. I’ve been playing at a few online casino sites but I dont think they have very good payouts.
