My best poker advice to beginners, on how to build a poker bankroll is  – don’t throw it away!

What do you mean they always say?

I mean don’t just throw your chips into the pot and hope for the best… that is giving your bankroll away.

Yes, but how do I build a bankroll?  Not how do I lose a bankroll…

And again I say… don’t throw it away?

It always has them confused.  I don’t like to say more, I then just say go and figure it out for yourself.  When you are next playing poker, think about how many chips you are going to push in, with these cards.  What are my opponents doing?  And most importantly don’t throw your chip stack away.

You have to observe what is going on.  You have to know what your hand is capable of beating and what is the percentage chance that it will win – and then bet accordingly – simple really.

If you just throw your chips into the pot without thinking, then you will slowly lose your bankroll.  Sure you will win once in a while but mostly you will lose and watch your poker bankroll slowly decline.

Think before you reach for the chips!!!   And, don’t throw it away!!!!!!!!!
